The book of 122 pages is in three sections, researched and prepared by Anne Daye, Jørgen Schou-Pedersen and Dorothée Wortelboer respectively, for the DHDS summer school in 2002.

The first section was intended for beginners and contains 12 dance notations (music on CD1, tracks 1-11), introduction, bibliography and step descriptions by Anne Daye.

The second section contains 9 dances in Feuillet notation (music on CD2, tracks 1-9) with notes and a bibliography by Jørgen Schou-Pedersen.

The third section is of 5 more complex dances in Feuillet notation (music on CD2, tracks 10-14) with an introduction and notes by Dorothée Wortelboer.

Music for these dances is provided on the two accompanying CDs.  CD1 covers dances 1-12 (note that dances 4 and 5 go to the same music).  CD2 covers dances 13-26. Both CD1 (tracks 12-18) and CD2 (tracks 15-24) contain additional tracks of music for the period. There are no dance notations for these dances in the books.
